It is the irony of the field: the person screening candidates all day presents their own case worst. And there is an added problem — HR still carries the suspicion of being a cost centre, so a CV without measurable impact confirms exactly what you do not want confirmed.
Most HR CVs describe processes: "management of the full employee lifecycle", "development of talent policies", "employee relations". Accurate and useless: it does not say what changed.
And there is context worth keeping in mind: in many leadership teams HR still has to prove it contributes rather than only spends. A CV without numbers feeds that idea.
Cutting turnover by five points in a 400-person company is hard money. Closing a collective agreement without conflict is too. Those are business results, not departmental ones.
Every indicator with its before, its after and the headcount you acted on.
Few functions have changed names so often. "Personnel Manager" became "HR Director", then "People Director", and in multinationals "CHRO". Many screening systems, when filtering on exact terms, do not connect them.
If your CV uses only one, you disappear from the adverts using another.
These are related titles, not equivalents: responsibilities and scope differ between them. Only use the ones you have genuinely held — a title you never had collapses in the first interview.
A company professionalising the function and one managing a restructuring do not want the same profile. Your experience serves both if ordered differently.

Cristina Bosch managed the same workforce and employee relations agenda in every example. What changes is whether the content lists responsibilities or makes her remit, decisions and impact clear.
Comparison 1 · The CV
Both examples are CV pages for the same professional. The improved version makes the workforce, organisational scope, collective agreements and performance trends visible.

Cutting time to fill is not about asking recruiters to move faster.
We moved from 52 to 34 days when we began reviewing where each vacancy stalled every week: role definition, interview scheduling, decision or offer.
We agreed response times with hiring managers, removed redundant interviews and measured cost by channel. Average cost per hire fell from €3,150 to €2,080 without lowering the selection bar.
Where do vacancies most often stall in your organisation?
The second post offers a professional perspective, explains a concrete decision and invites comparison without asking readers for distribution.
On a first pass, these details establish the scale, employee relations complexity and business impact of the HR remit.
This illustrative example uses fictional data. Names, companies, figures and compatibility results do not correspond to any real person, company or job posting.
A HR Director CV uploaded to a company portal is not laid out like one that lands straight on a headhunter's desk: the first is read by software and needs a single column and no photo; the second is read by a person and can afford a sidebar, a photo and typography with weight. Both are there — grouped by that criterion, not by taste — in the 34 executive CV templates: you can see them without signing up, and they are included in the free plan.
Tell your track record out loud and ZenitJob turns it into achievements with figures and business impact. Then it tailors that to each role.
